Girls in Rugby Week: Village Warriors Open Day at Kenfig Hill RFC – Sat 26 Oct 11am
Village Warriors Girls Rugby are holding an open day at Kenfig Hill RFC for girls, age 10 to 18 years old, this Saturday 26th October. Whether a girl who has have never touched a rugby ball or who has played the sport for years, is looking for a new team, or just wants a fun day out, they can join in at the Mules at 11:00am-1:30pm.
Village Warriors will have lots of different games, food and drinks available at Croft Goch playing fields, and the opportunity afterwards to watch Kenfig Hill Senior Men’s first team play Glynneath RFC in the second round of the championship cup at home, kick off at 2.30pm.

Monthly pop-up cafe at Cefn’s Three Horse Shoes – Wednesday 23 Oct 10am
The next monthly pop-up café, held on the fourth Wednesday of the month, is tomorrow, 23rd October, at the usual time of 10.00am – 1.00pm in the lounge of the Three Horse Shoes community pub in Cefn.
Anyone can drop in for a cuppa, slice of cake and a chat.

Applications for secondary school admissions in September 2025 are now open to parents and carers.
