Macmillan coffee morning at Life Centre in Cefn

Bridgend Carer’s Centre will be holding it’s Macmillan Coffee morning, today, Wednesday 25th September at 12pm – 2.30pm at Bethlehem Church Life Centre (BCLC) in Cefn.

Local artiste Deb of MusiCare Wales will be performing a variety show and there will also be a guest appearance from wellbeing dogs ‘Dobermans For Therapy Indie & Dave’.

Anyone is welcome to pop in for a cuppa, and any donations of cake and raffle prizes would be appreciated by the carers centre too.

 

Baby equipment and new shoe sale at Splice in Pyle

Splice child and family centre in North Avenue, Pyle are holding another drop-in day on Wednesday, 2nd October at 9.30am-2.30pm.

Baby bouncers, baby blankets, baby bottles, clothes and Moses baskets will all be on sale.

You can take what you need, for a donation of what you can afford! Cash or card donations are accepted.

The charity also has a range of brand-new shoes still available (most small sizes have gone) and the centre is hoping to make space by offering the baby equipment it has in stock.

Call in between 9.30am and 2.30am to pick up a bargain.

 

General Kitchen Assistant needed at Cefn School – Opportunities within school catering service

There are currently vacancies for Relief General Kitchen Assistants at several local schools including at Cefn School.

Duties will include assisting in the preparation, presentation and service of school meals, whilst providing a safe, clean environment to pupils and staff.

Pyle RFC are hiring bar staff

Are you looking for work? Pyle RFC are looking to recruit more bar staff to work weekends and evenings. You must be 18 + years of age, reliable, flexible, have a good work ethic and excellent customer service skills.

Experience is preferred, however full training will be provided. An immediate start is available.

If you think you have the skills and would enjoy working behind the bar, then you can apply by contacting the Bar Manager or dropping your CV into the clubhouse.
