Charity coffee morning at Cefn’s Wesleyan this week

Cefn Methodist Church will be holding its next, monthly, charity coffee morning this Wednesday 5th June, at 10.00am-12.00midday.

This month the coffee morning will be raising funds for the free family breakfast at Pyle Church Hall. Held every Saturday morning, 9:30am – 11:30am, family breakfast also offers a community pantry with fruit, vegetables, tinned staples and breads plus a freshly baked cake table. Run by volunteers from the churches of Pyle and Kenfig the breakfast is free of charge and open to people of all ages.

All are welcome at the little chapel on the edge of the common on Wednesday, to get together to meet old friends and make new friends, over coffee, tea and biscuits.

 

Join the free 4-week Toddle Waddle programme!

A free 4-week ‘Toddle Waddle’ programme is starting next week.

The courses are aimed at those who are taking their first steps in life and includes fun physical activities to prepare your toddler and yourself for the Porthcawl Toddler Dash Race on Sunday 7 July.

The programmes will take place at:

  • Ynysawdre Swimming Pool, 12.30pm-1.30pm, starting from Thursday 6 June 2024.
  • Ogmore Valley Life Centre, 10.30am-11.30am, starting from Friday 7 June 2024.

Toddle Waddle is for toddlers aged between 18 months and 3 years.
