Cefn Cribwr Football Club awarded prestigious silver accreditation by the Football Association of Wales

Congratulations to the hard working and dedicated coaches and committee members, all volunteers, at Cefn Cribwr FC on achieving the prestigious silver accreditation by the FAW (Football Association of Wales).

The accreditation programme recognises when children are being coached by suitably qualified individuals that create the right environment for players to develop in a fun, engaging and safe manner.

This is a particularly impressive achievement for the riders as the club’s minis and juniors only restarted last season with just a handful of children but has grown rapidly and flourished since then. To secure silver accreditation grassroots Welsh clubs have to meet several demanding standards including the number of age groups, the minimum number of coaches with qualifications per team, to name just a few. The accreditation demonstrates that children that are part of the Cefn Cribwr FC family benefit from the best standard of grassroots football.

The General Secretary of Cefn Cribwr Football Club, Aled Warren said: “An incredible amount of hard work and determination has gone into achieving this and it now means we join an exclusive group of clubs across Wales. We are extremely grateful to our dedicated volunteers who have made this happen. Anyone interested in joining our club whether playing or helping coaching the minis, please get in touch.”

Cefn Cribwr Football is now just one of only a few clubs in our area to have achieved a silver award and is offering a pathway from mini football to the Welsh Ardal Leagues!
