Cream tea at Cefn’s Wesley
Cefn Methodist Church will be holding its next, charity coffee morning, this month with cream tea on Wednesday 7th August, at 10.00am-12.00midday.
There will also be a craft stall, a lucky dip, a book stall and a guess the number of sweets competition. Funds raised will support the upkeep of the chapel.
All are welcome at the little chapel on the edge of the common on Wednesday, for a cuppa and a chat.
Pyle Library Lego Club during the summer holiday
Does your child love playing and building with Lego? Take them to Pyle Library on a Friday afternoon and they can build to their heart’s content!
Lego club is free, every Friday afternoon at 3.00pm and continues throughout the school summer holidays. Duplo is available for younger lego fans, so every child can enjoy the fun! No need to book, just drop in with the children.
Free workshops for over 11s during the school holidays
The council’s Youth Support Services are offering free workshops for children and young people aged 11 and over, every Wednesday during the summer holidays.
Every Wednesday between 31 July and 21 August, 3pm – 5pm at the Evergreen Hall, Angel Street, Bridgend.
Activities include smoothie bikes, movie time, graffiti workshop, raw performance fitness & fun, music & DJ workshop and much more!
Green Top Market returns to Bridgend town centre this weekend
The popular Green Top Market will make a welcome return to Bridgend town centre this Saturday (3 August) from 10 to 3pm in Caroline Street, Bridgend.
The artisan markets features independent producers, talented crafters, artisan makers and a few tasty surprises! Meet friends, support your local high street, shop, eat and enjoy!
