As part of Kenfig Hill and Pyle Community Festival week, St Theodore’s Church are hosting a concert on Friday 21st June, featuring the Swansea based Ellie Jones Jazz Trio.
Ellie is joined by band mates, the legendary Welsh guitarist Gary Phillips and virtuoso bassist Alun Vaughan. With Ellie’s vintage vocals, the trio perform songs from the swing era, The Great American Songbook, cool jazz, jump jive, and even a touch of Calypso and Ska. They frequently perform for Lindy hop and jive groups, jazz clubs, festivals and events throughout Wales.
