Cefn Gardening Club is running a coach trip to visit Usk Open Gardens 2024 on Sunday 23rd June.
An annual festival of plants, flowers and gardening in the beautiful award-winning Monmouthshire town, it ranges from small cottages packed with unusual plants to romantic gardens around the ramparts of the medieval Usk Castle. A gardeners’ market offering a wide selection of interesting plants will also be held in the town.
Departing outside the Three Horseshoes community pub in Cefn at 9.00am, the cost of the bus is £10 for members and £15 for non-members which can either be paid directly into the Gardening Club Bank Account or to committee members Steve or Chris Early. Please make your payment as soon as possible to reserve your place on the coach. The entrance fee of £10 to the open gardens will be paid on arrival in Usk.
Book your place now for a day out for all the family with small independent shops, tearooms, pubs, riverside walks, a Rural Life Museum, and places to picnic by the River Usk or in one of the large gardens open to the public.
