First Cymru are introducing Tap On, Tap Off technology across all services in Wales across all services in Wales from 31 March 2024.
Even if customers make multiple trips over several days, the system will automatically calculate the cheapest way to travel providing the same payment method is used.
Passengers just need to simply tap their contactless card on the drivers ticket machine at both the start and end of a journey. There is now no need to tell the driver where you are going.
VISA, Mastercard, Apple Pay (now with Express Mode) and Google Pay are all accepted.
First Cymru have also reviewed their timetable to make services more punctual and to take into account lots of new contract awards.
