European rugby will return to Bridgend for the first time in 20 years later this year when the Ospreys take on Sale Sharks in the last 16 of the European Challenge Cup.
The landmark match will take place on 6 April 2024 and is the first top flight European rugby match to be held at the venue since January 2004.
The Ospreys have recently played at a sold out Dunraven Brewery Field in an entertaining New Year’s Day victory over Cardiff Rugby earlier this month and will return after positive feedback from players and supporters.
The ground also saw UEFA Europa Conference League football played at the stadium in July of last year with Penybont drawing 1-1 with Santa Coloma.
