Amber Taverns will begin work on their new unit at Caroline Street (Bridgend town centre) in January.
The unit which was formerly occupied by Dorothy Perkins, has recently been granted a change of use and premises licence.
The new tenant is now linking in with the council’s housing team, South Wales Police and cleansing services to make the unit secure.
