Give the gift of joy this Christmas by supporting the Santa Appeal
Your donation will ensure that every child and young person in Bridgend County Borough in care will wake up on Christmas morning with a gift and a reason to smile.

If you would like to help, even just by giving a small donation, please visit Awen’s Just Giving page and make your donation online. You can also make a card or cash donation at your local Halo sports centre or swimming pool.

If you would prefer to buy a gift and donate that way, please visit the council’s website for a list of secure drop-off points in Awen libraries and the Civic Office building in Angel Street, Bridgend town centre.

Your gift, no matter how small, will make a big difference to a local child in need. The closing date for all donations is Monday 4 December 2023.

The Council’s Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Social Services and Health, Cllr Jane Gebbie said: “Christmas is a wonderful time for most of us, however many children and young people in Bridgend County Borough are facing waking up on Christmas morning without a present.

“If you are able to give a small donation or add an extra gift to your shopping list this year, please consider giving to help make a young person smile over the festive period.”
