Cefn Christmas Fare at the Green Hall
Santa has found room in his busy schedule and the elves have booked a space on the sleigh for Cefn’s Christmas Fayre!
Children can meet Santa at the Community Centre (Green Hall) at the annual village Christmas event this Saturday 25th November, at 10.30am-2.00pm.
Shop for Christmas gifts in a hall packed with stalls, try your luck at the tombola and have the chance to win a luxury hamper plus lots more prizes in the Community Centre’s annual Christmas prize draw.
Admission is free and all are welcome.
Christmas fare at Pyle Church Hall
St James’ in Pyle & St Mary Magdalene Church in Maudlam are holding their popular annual Christmas Fayre this Saturday, 25th November at Pyle Parish Hall from 2.00pm until 5.00pm.
A cake stall, home-made preserves, plants, flowers, crafts, tombola, raffle prizes, and a stall by Theo’s in Kenfig Hill will fill the church hall.
Santa will be making a special appearance and will be giving a free chocolate selection box to every child who visits.
Call in and enjoy a mulled wine & mince pies! Everyone is welcome.
Bridgend Christmas Lights Switch on event
Bridgend Christmas Lights Switch on event is this Saturday 25th November. The fun starts at 1.30pm, in the town centre, with lots of free activities including Elf School!
The parade is at 4.30pm from Carnegie House. Everyone is welcome to join the walking parade from Carnegie House to the Christmas tree for the lights switch on at 5.00pm. The parade, led by All That Jazz Dixie Band, will include Santa, The Grinch, Illuminated Silt Walking Angels, Panto Characters and Naughty Elves!
Meet the Grinch – The Grinch will be making appearances in the town centre throughout the afternoon, find him and see what mischief he makes!
Popular radio presenter Lee Jukes of Bridge FM will be introducing local choirs and bands on the entertainment stage:
