Annual charity soup lunch for Christian Aid

Cefn Methodist Church’s annual soup lunch for Christian Aid is today, Wednesday 17th May at 12.00 – 1.30pm.

The delicious flavours will include broccoli and stilton, chicken tagine a la Win and pea and ham. Vegetarian options include leek and potato, and tomato, carrot, orange and onion broth.

A warm welcome is extended to all at the chapel on the common.

 

Ukelele night at the Three Horse Shoes  

A Ukulele night will be held in the Anvil lounge at the Three Horse Shoes Community Pub in Cefn this Thursday, 18th May at 7.30pm.

Take your ukulele, complete beginners or more experienced players are welcome, or just pop in for a chat.

 

Join the team at Parc Slip Nature Reserve Café  

Due to the success of the re-opening of Parc Slip Visitor Centre and Café, the Wildlife Trust are now looking to recruit an additional barista/catering assistant to join it’s busy team as soon as possible.

The working hours are: Friday, Saturday and Sunday 12pm – 3pm. £10.90 per hour.
