The council and Awen Libraries have been working together to set up a new tablet loan scheme for all library members.
Tablets can be loaned for up to three weeks at a time and come equipped with a SIM card loaded with data, so that borrowers can access the internet without having to connect to Wi-Fi.
The tablets will also come pre-loaded with apps and helpful links to get you started, including:
- BorrowBox for eBooks and eAudiobooks
- Libby for eMagazines
- Awen Libraries website
- Bridgend County Borough Council website
You must be a library member to access the scheme, however, joining the library is completely free!
