To celebrate Dogs Trust’s new rehoming centre coming to Cardiff, A Dog’s Trail is a spectacular, free public art trail pawing its way across the city from 8th April – 5th of June 2022. For 8 weeks the city’s streets, Cardiff Bay and park spaces will become home to a series of intricately decorated Snoopy sculptures, each designed by local, regional and national artists, designers and illustrators – both well-known favourites and newly emerging talent. The Snoopy sculptures will also make an appearance across Caerphilly and Porthcawl.
Each sculpture will be sponsored by a business or individual and have its own tale to tell, many showcasing South Wales’ wealth of artistic talent whilst celebrating the vibrance, culture and creativity that the region has to offer.
Be a part of this unique event with the world’s most iconic dog, both helping to raise vital funds for Dogs Trust and our newest Cardiff rehoming centre, as well as delivering significant economic, social and cultural benefits to the city.
A Dog’s Trail is an exciting new adventure for Dogs Trust. The trail’s aim is to raise significant funding towards our work so that we can continue to provide our services for those who need them the most. But we also know that it is going to be a spectacular exhibition – bringing together many communities through the creation and display of sculptures trailing through the city – a true showcase of South Wales as a place to visit, love, live, work and play.
As communities across the world continue to deal with the effects of recent times, A Dog’s Trail is a special event that will promote health and wellbeing, bring businesses and communities together and help boost the regional economy. Together, we can make it happen.
